“About 4 years ago I was at a digital seminar at the Chicago midwinter and the presenter recommended several Installers nationwide, and Ted was one of them. We talked and he looked at the plans of the office, and afterwards and decided that the costs at that time outweighed the benefits. Ted’s honest advice saved me thousands

| About us and how it works. |
|
Every practice is different. That’s why we never use a canned approach. We work with your unique resources to address the issues that are important to you. |
|
The art of management is getting the biggest possible bang for your buck. We know how to leverage your and your staff’s time to get the best outcome for your patients, your practice and yourself. We know how to help you deal with PPO’s, staff hassles and the countless other aggravations of a practice. With our experience and know how, you’ll be surprised how easy it can be.
Making Sure Your Associate Succeeds:
A happy productive associate can add greatly to the bottom line and your peace of mind. Of course, it also might be an important part of your eventual practice transition.
The most common reason associateships fail is because the junior Doctor is not busy enough or productive enough. We’ll see this happen in cases where there is plenty of business but somehow it just doesn’t make it into the associate schedule. Or the associate doesn’t know how to pick up his or her efforts to really contribute to the practice.
A new graduate out of dental school should produce $250-$300 per hour. With the right management moves and coaching, the associate could quickly get to $350-$450 per hour. This greatly adds to their income and profitability.
Almost every Doctor that has had an associate has asked themselves, “Am I making money on this thing or not?” We can make sure you do…and, more importantly, make sure that your associate is happy, successful and stays!
The average Advanced Practice Management client enjoys a 23.8% gain (our last 284 starts).

You have a solid practice but it’s stagnating:
Most often this is why Doctors first contact us. The Doctors feel good about the Dentistry they do, the relationship they have with their patients and their practice in general, but things have just been stagnating. The practice no longer grows like it use to. Overhead is pinching a bit. Aggravating little issues start to mount up such as:
Insurance write-off and participation questions, lack of consistency in staff performance, a nagging feeling that customer service or patient relations aren’t what they want it to be, wondering what, if any, advertising efforts you should make, and just a general lack of having a handle on things.
In some of these situations, the statistics can be amazingly flat. It’s not uncommon to see a practice that averages 14 new patients per month this year, averaged 13.5 the year before and 14.2 the year before that…in other words amazingly consistent. Stagnant or stable depending on how you look at it. After a while, to most Doctors it starts to look stagnant! Particularly if you don’t feel that you’re busy enough to be at full capacity. Typically, Doctors in this situation feel that they are about 80% as busy as they’d like to be. So the hidden “cost” is the undone production that could be done if the Doctor had enough patients in the schedule.

The Practice Within a Practice:
The Hygiene Department is a substantial part of your practice. Well trained Hygienists that consistently deliver services in concert with your core clinical values are a very substantial part of your quality of care. Often with multiple hygienists there is lack of consistency which can impinge on quality (After all part of the definition of quality and care is consistency in delivery). It also greatly affects your profitability.
Sometimes you can be sitting right in the middle of a situation and not see the opportunities available to you. If you’re in a situation where you feel that your practice is not growing as fast as you want it grow, call us. We know how to deal with this. We’ve dealt with it for years and we can help get you growing again!
A hygienist producing $120/hr. can look just as busy, professional and nice as a hygienist producing $150/hr. Yet at the end of the day, one hygienist is contributing significantly more to patient care in your practice than the other. Improved hygiene services can greatly enhance your monthly patient care and the bottom line.
Staff Training and Accountability:
You probably haven’t got time to micro manage things. Most dentists aren’t inclined to micro manage anyway. You want to do dentistry. So it’s great when systems are set up so the staff knows what to do, why they are doing it, how to do it and are accountable for results. We can help you set up the systems and some very simple techniques that will help you work with your staff to keep on top of the business end of things with minimal investment of your time. We feel that if you take 1%-2% of your time and resources for management, the other 98% can be twice as productive.
The productivity adds greatly to your profitability. The peace of mind is harder to measure!
You Name It,
We’ve Dealt With It!:
We are involved in the ongoing management of over 250 Upper Midwest practices. Each month data on over $18,000,000 worth of dental activity hits our desk. Over the years we have helped our clients sort out personnel problems, make very smart moves when dealing with insurance companies and PPO’s, get a handle on their overhead, bring in more new patients and build quality practices. Most importantly, we take an ethical approach to things. We do not pressure or manipulate our clients. We do not ask our clients to pressure or manipulate their patients. We aren’t canned and we don’t ask you to take a canned approach. We put you first just like you put your patients first. We know that successful practices focus on delivering the best possible care and experience for the patients and then busyness, profitability and other virtues of practice happen as a matter of course.
